Research

The NMAHP Research Unit is involved in 35-40 concurrent research projects at any one time, with the majority of these being led by the Unit. This research is valued at approximately £23 million with some £6-7 million of this being directly administered by the Unit.

Our research programmes (Innovation in NMAHP Interventions, Transforming Care Delivery and Maximising Data Usage in NMAHP Research) reflect the main domains of our work. However, the Unit also takes a ‘problem’ focus to determining its research priorities and these ‘problems’ are reflected in our Cross Cutting Workstreams. The problems we address and the workstreams through which we address the problems can consist of several research projects which may also span both Programmes.

This section of the website provides information on our active research projects.
